Three, it’s a magic number

Well, wow. It’s been almost a whole year since I last wrote anything on this blog, which is really quite shameful. I’m still here, still kicking, and my predictions from my last post have mostly all been realised (no shocks there)! SO much has happened in the last year, D-wise and elsewhere, but lets not dwell on my absence. I’ve decided to just pick a topic, and write. In the last year, there’s one thing I’ve grown to acknowledge and appreciate more than ever, and that’s my D-family. For those of you who maybe don’t know me personally, you won’t know that I actually live with a whole family of T1D warriors, that’s right: both my mom and sister also share a piece of this demon, we’re all just that unlucky… Now, you might be thinking “wow, how terribly unfortunate”, you’d be right, but actually this certainly comes with its perks, too… (Expand to read more…)

Back to the bubble recent ramble. New starts, A1c results, and the Freestyle Libre trial(!)

Hello lovely people, I know it’s been a while, but I’ve not forgotten about this blog, or my innate need to somewhat share this small part (yeah, right) of my life with you all on this fun, fun trip to educate. This small concept called ‘life’ seems to have gotten in-between me and my bubble these past few weeks… but do not fear, I’m still here, and I’m back to bore you with an update of what has been going on, D-wise. Actually, quite a lot has happened in the last three weeks. Firstly, I’ve started back at University for my second and final Masters year, which I’m sure is going to royally chuff up my levels what with stress and no time to eat and what not, fun. Hello there, hi…

Welcome to the wonderful world of my bubble, where you may expect to find my thoughts, emotions, and general ramble of my life with Type One Diabetes. I’m super stoked that I have finally set up this blog, as it is something I have been wanting to do for some time now. I should mention, this page has come about off the tail of an Instagram account that I set up a few months back now; you may or may not be familiar with it: Please do check it out and have a browse if you would like to!
